I See Your Lies

Administrators tell you to not discuss political views.

You convey that everyday.

But I see through your lies.

I know which side you support.

You preached about Andrew Jackson for weeks;

Claimed he was the best thing in U.S.. history.

You barely touched on Thomas Jefferson;

When you did  t'was negative.

Your biased lessons didn't end there.

Weeks were spent on Jimmie Carter.

You preached how amazing he was.

Wait.

Wasn't he the one with the gas crisis;

The agriculture fall out?

Didn't he ruin America financially?

Yet you saw past his faults and saw a hero.

That wasn't the worst.

You spent no time on Ronald Regan.

Didn't he better America;

Brought the hostages home;

Cause an economic boom?

No time spent on him.

Everything is riddled with Democratic views,

But your schemes won't work on me.

You may poison the minds of everyone,

But I see through your lies.

I won't be your brainwashed follower.

I know what you are doing.

It won't work on me!
