I Seem To Be

I seem to be happy
But really I'm mad
I seem to be careless
But no worries 'cause I'm not bad

I seem to be hateful
But instead I am fearless
I seem to be pretty
But...wait...looks can be deceiving

I seem to be failing
But I'm really succeeding
I seem to be annoyed
But really I'm confused

I seem to be weird
But really I'm wondering why you're so amused.

EAT SLEEP AND BREATHE POETRY

I am a teenage girl who has been writing poetry for a good three or four years. I have always been into the great Emily Dickinson, but my belief is that I was NOT the one who made the decision to start writing poetry, that it was actually God who made that choice. From the very first poem I wrote on, my love of all that is poetry has increased greatly as has my love for God.
