I sit like a cat 2

I sit like a cat

Upon a windowsill

Looking inward instead of out

Inside the quiet home sits

Happiness

Inside the quiet home sits

Patience

Together they talk of plans for the future

So far off, it seems

So impossible

But like all strays, the cat must move on

But she will return when Patience is old and

Happiness is full of life

Happiness will throw open the window and let the cat in

She will embrace Happiness and Patience will smile

The first time in a long while
