I Smile
I listened
because I didn't want to annoy you
I begged
because I didn't want to lose you
I cried
because I wasn't good enough for you
I thought you cared
but it was me that was scared
scare that I couldn't live without you
so I let you dictate my life
Your words stabbed my heart like a knife
and little did I know your heart was made of ice
you left me with another guy
yet I still gave you another try
once again I was damnify
thought you could change
but you were nothing but the same
i only left myself to blame
And you left me as if I were some type of game
Eventually I grew and matured
My heart was ready and restored
i learned what love was not
I wasn't going to care for you and rot
i was able to move on
Love isnt controlling
Love doesn't hurt
Love is suppose to heal..
I Rejoice
because I found my happiness
I celebrated
because I found myself again
I Smile
because i loved myself again
