I Smile

Line, Line Line, STOP

Eyes' movement stop.

Images flash across the blank expanse.

Haha, think about that.

Mull. Ponder.  Imagine that.

Ears strain.  Ears listen.

Secret rhythm, hidden in verse

Reveal feeling, ne'er expose by curse.

Can I say this, can I say that?

Will I write thee, or will I scribe you?

Does a painter stroke, or does a sculptor brush?

Play, Play, Play with the art.

Play with the word.  Play with the phrase.

The end is nigh?  The end is near?

Nevertheless, it comes in my ear.
