I Stand Alone and Afraid

They have all disappeared.

Those I have been searching for.

The ones who were there for me.

Stupidly, I cast them aside.

With no one by my side today.

I stand alone and afraid.

By myself, I face the world.

Nothing to hide behind.

The ones who treasured me.

I hated them all.

Suffocating a person like me.

Now I'm the one dying with no air.
