I stay standing

Even though I am broken,

I still have hope

I will not give up

I won't let go of the faith

the air that keeps me breathing

the wind that whistles to the song I sing is beside me

the heart that keeps me believing is still inside of me

I will not fall; I stay standing.

I refuse to be shattered to little pieces

I stay as a whole

I must not bow to the darkenesss that blinds me

I see with my heart and listen to my mind

I stay alive for I must never die
