I Still Am

It is merely an object,

An abiotic, and yet it

Disturbes me for what I see.

Since I ran remember, I

Wake up for so many days

That I am given, and

Literally see what I don't

Want to see, yet imagine

To see what I want to

See reflected.

I still remember the power of

The Most High; remember that

The impossible is nothing in

Faith and in the hope I claim.

'You are relentless, you, yourself'

Managing the critiques of your

Peers for your good deeds of hospitality

And morality teaching

For sharing your friendship and time

With those you are known for not to do so.

'You are a watchman of your microcosm-

Of your home, family, church, friends, and society-

Keeping a constant examplary life model of

Morality and intellect for those who lack

Value and ignore the treasure of human reasoning'
