When you’re sad, it makes me sad

When you’re happy, I’m over the moon

It hurts me to know that even though I still feel this way, there’s nothing I can do about it

Because I don’t know if you feel the same

Besides, we’re not ready…we were never ready

Impulse decisions, jealousy, immaturity, heart-break

It was all so messed up

Yet that was the most beautiful relationship I’d ever been in

I miss you so much

I miss the way you’d always try to make me happy

I miss the way you’d hug me randomly

I miss the way you’d tell me goodnight every night

I miss the feeling of your hand in mine

I miss your laugh

I miss your smile

I miss you

I miss us

I hate that even though there’s still something between us, at the same time, there’s nothing at all

I hate the fact that the stars didn’t align with us being together

And the universe couldn’t have a little pity

But I still think of you as if you put stars in the sky

Because you put stars in my sky

On some of my darkest nights

And lit up my world

…you made it beautiful
