I still struggle

I'm gonna break. I wake before the day gets light, To chase the dreams that are in my sight. I work and grind, I push and strive. To rise above, to stay alive. But as the day wears on and night draws near I face a different kind of fear. The tension creeps, the stress unfolds, A heavy weight that's hard to hold. My home, the place where peace should reside, Feels more like a battlefield when I step inside. Theres an instant rage, I can hear the roar I just wanna relax, as i pass through the door. I can't wait to unwind and calmly breathe but this is the one task that I can't achieve. I'm torn between my drive to succeed And all the turmoil that my home life breeds. But still I push, I strive and grind for theres no mountain that I cant climb. Ill always find the strength and a way to cope, I"ll always rise above the struggles, you'll never see me choke.
