I Still Think About You
I don't know if you still think about me,
Maybe when you read that book we always read,
Or maybe when you listen to that song we always listened to,
Or maybe, on a dull Thursday evening you'll stare at the rain and remember when we were kids,
the time where we promised that nothing could tear us apart.
After all,
We were just kids.
What did we know?
Maybe you do still think about me,
I know I still think about you,
Every morning,
Though not wishing you were back,
I don't want you to be here unless you want to be here too.
Instead I think to myself,
I hope that you are alright.
