I Stopped


The tall ferns

                        Crowding against the trunks of the

  Cedars

Flooded                       with green feathery waves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jumped out into the

Fern sea.                                                        

                                     

  Approached the barren, vacant face slowly,

I  stopped
