I think
I think
I think about everything there is to think
I shudder at fears
I cry with my genuine tears
I am fresh out of ideas that I have had through the years
I think about what makes me different and unique
I think what sets me apart
My grace, my words, my love of art
No, it is not one of these things but all
I in myself can find these factors and stand tall
Through the complexity of evolution we came to be
That important God though of us to give us dominion over land
and sea
I think of the destruction we cause to ourselves
For fame, for love, for lust
Its all the same...
But this day I want to make a change
Take the love, and the factors
The hope and the beliefs and
Make a brighter tomorrow that might shine through
the darkness of someone's today
To be free to say I love myself
Without fear of pretension
Take those factors and love them not hate
them
The compatibility of life that makes us unique finds
its heart enveloped in what we accept and let be.
So cliche are these last words
But I care not
I just want to be me.
