I like to think of

I like to think of you as the ocean sometimes.

I admire and respect you.

I’m left in suspense when it comes to your true depth.

There’s a coral reef reflecting your emotions.

There are sharks that come out at night.

Sometimes they frenzy.

I’m freely running on your shore

but don’t like salt water down my throat.

All the while,

I am utterly fascinated, in love

and completely mesmerized

by you.
