I Think About it

I tend to question my purpose sometimes

By just questioning it makes me wonder have I been living a lie?

Haven't cried, just amazed how fast they go by, you know the days

Am I going in the right direction?

I don't want it to lead to a misconception or drive off destiny road due to temptation

Times get hard and I question if I can continue,

Then I look at those around me, imagine what they've been through

Here I am complaining, debating to stay

Foolishly forgetting that I'm blessed, I guess its just the stress

Sometimes I'm a mess when I'm stressed

Still crosses my mind am I in the right place, not in a daze

Don't want to walk into the rest of my life blind

Gosh, I need to stop with the negativity and chase a dream that's fully mine

Change it up with some clarity, I just want to be the best person I can be

Have mom say, "that's my daughter", proudly

Everyone is destined for greatness, I can achieve that, because I believe that

It's the devotion, keep on going, no matter the speed of motion

Good things happen to those who want it so bad they make it happen

Realize they're blessed, but don't rest

Surrounded by people thinking away from negative, everyday.

Because we're not alone.

I'll end this case on that note, follow god's grace until the end,

someone wise once wrote.
