I think being a poet

 I think being a poet

Is like being the devils advocate

I think my emotions is to raw and uncut

I hate to show it

These words make me seem

So persuasive it’s a self havoc

What happens when the ink fades

And my words sound slurred and delayed

I see my emotions starting to derail

And heading off course like a putt

When I do speak it’s with emotions

In these poet words  it can cause commotions

When all I want is tears of joy on ur face

See but when I say it like that I think

You think My agenda is corrupt

I fell the tonic plates moving

I’m no  genius but I think my times up

These words about to erupt

I think being a poet

Heightens  my feelings

I think my words  is a cloak

Where I can hide

And confide
