I Think I'm Lost at Sea

I cry because of the memories

Both that were and will never be

I laugh because I keep on sailing

Even though I know I’m lost at sea

I ache because I can feel you

As I watch the waves crash near

I squint because I can practically see you

Almost as if you were right here.

I smile because I can imagine

All the things you’d say to me

I giggle because you’d yell,

“You’re not actually lost at sea!”
