I Thought

I thought I had everything, but I took it for granted.

A princess to the throne, a world filled with magic.

I thought I was high in a world victimless of lies.

In truth I was blind to the darkness taking form as light.

I thought I had everything, but I took it for granted.

A world filled with beauty, built secretly by dark magic. I thought I was queen, to a world evil had never seen. As high as a kite, soaring above a beautiful sight.  I thought I was fine, but all I did was cry. Darkness and terrors lurked in thin sight. I thought I could handle it, but in truth I unraveled it. The panic and anxiety, took over what now is a tragedy. I thought God had foreseen the goodness in me. I was given a role, a special tune that broke my soul. I thought I was right, but instead, the world cried. And now as God looks down, He only frowns. I thought I had everything, but I lost it in madness. In the end there is nothing, a world drowning in sadness.
