I Thought, I could

If I was all alone today with just my thoughts

The only thing I would want would be surprising

To all that know me

It is not my kindle

Although I tell everyone I can’t go without

And I really can’t

It is not Harry Potter books

Although I tell everyone J.K. Rowling is my Queen

That I shall swear loyalty to her

And wear her Dark Mark

It is not stuffed animals

Although they are just as precious as any pet

On that Island in rain, Sun, or snow

Is something immaterial

I would want my mothers Hugs.
