I Thought I was Strong on my Own

I always believed I was strong on my own

But it has been known

That one alone cannot be enough

I thought I was strong

When my grandmother passed away

But as soon as I saw my mother cry for her dear mother

My heart was shattered in ways I didn’t know it could be broken.

Then two years passed my heart is somewhat stable

But My family gained another loss

Father lost his job due to the greed businessmen eat.

I grew up once again

To be strong not for myself but for the family that

gave me love and hope.
