I Told Her


I told her

I let her know I'd be fine.

She was wary 

She let me go.

 

I told her

I let her know I would be safe.

She knew better

She let me go.

 

I told her

I let her know  how much pain I was in.

She should've known better

She held on.

 

I told her

I let her know it was ok.

She needed to move on

She let me go,
