I, Too

I, too, long for vision. I am the blind you never see. They send me to the dogs When wandering the street, But I laugh, And hold on, And dream. Tomorrow, I’ll see my world When out in theirs. Nobody’ll dare Say to me, “Can you see,” Then. Besides, They’ll see how beautiful I am And be stunted- I, too, am blind.
