I took it

I took it...I know it was bad  I know I shouldn’t have,

But if you really knew me if you’d knew the days that I’ve had you’d understand.

I see now how everyone’s so addicted,

because within one sip it had all been lifted,

the voices in my head were gone,

for once the weight on my chest disappeared,

and I guess it’s better then the blood on my arm being smeared.

But it’s hard,

to find the right way to cope,

without anyone knowing,

without any hope.

So I just sit quietly and internalize what I’m going through,

because even with all the signs screaming in your face you don’t notice do you ?
