I tried

I couldn’t help myself

I tried so hard

but I just felt worse

the loud tears

turned into silent screams

the silent screams

then

turned into the color red

it was everywhere

it was on my hands

it was on my arms

it was on my legs

it was all over my body

it was all over my knife

which I have decided would take my life
