I tried... so hard

I tried to tell you how I felt.
I tried to tell you to do something about it-that you needed to get help.
I tried to encourage you to attempt to earn money by mowing lawns.
I tried to tell you drugs are bad.
I tried to call you almost everyday.
you were there. I yelled and raised my voice at you..... but I was trying to get my point across. over the phone I seemed harsh-I know.
I tried to tell you this would happen.
I guess you didn't think it could happen.
I hoped it would never happen.
I tried... so hard.
