I Truly Do

I text you the moment I get in my car, telling you I’m about to leave

Because I love you

I also text you the moment I arrive to my destination

Because I love you

I tell when I’m happy, sad, angry, irritated and every emotion in between

Because I love you

I do not get extremely jealous over any other girl that talks to you

Because I love you

I give you all of my affection and praise

Because I love you

I give you any gifts I can, even if they aren’t store-bought

Because I love you

I tell you every day that I’m so thankful for you

Because I love you

Through all of the things that we go through

The arguments, the pettiness, everything

You put the smile on my face on the darkest of days and on the brightest

and I never once think of straying away

Because I love you

And I truly do love you.
