I Truly Do Love You

Hey, I know don't say this very often,
But I love you and because I do,
I know,
You'll be there for me as much as I'll be there for you.
We'll stick up for one another,
We'll fight for what we know is right,
And I will always help you take flight.

The only black and blue you'll ever see,
Will be the sky reflected in your eyes.
And I'll always tell you the truth,
because I know you don't like lies.

I will never betray you,
I will never go down that low,
I will never lay a hand upon you,
Nor let anyone else hurt you.

I promise to make you smile,
I promise to be with you forever,
No matter how many years pass by,
We'll always be together.

I'll care for you,
as you will for me,
Know that everything that I do,
Will be for your own safety.

Know that I'll gladly take a bullet for you,
Know that I'd die for you,
Know that I'll do anything for you,
All of this, because I love you.

And because I love you,
I'll keep our friendship in my heart,
I'll make sure that every moment,
From me, it'll never part.

This promise goes down to stay,
A sworn oath I say,
I swear that I will never stray away
Because I truly do,
Really love you.
