I try my best

Oh guardian of mine,

what shall I do to please you

we your kin do our best to meet your expectations

some of us are better and some of us are lesser

that doesn´t mean you shall have the right to punish me for what I can´t avoid

from our intellect to our ability to follow your instructions

You, the one who bore us and raised us from a babe

despise the thought of us failing and not being capable of expressing your ignorant

pride in our achievements to your fellow man

You shall love us for who we are

not for what we can do and what we offer you.
