I Understand

I am small,

I understand that.

I feel we mean nothing,

I try to understand that.

I see many maps.

I only desire truth,

I long to know what exists.

I am not known.

I dream to nurse the injured.

I try to keep the known alive.

I wonder what life holds.

I pretend not to care.

I hope for the best.

I am an individual.

I am perfectly content.

I plan on staying that way.
