I Used To

The drops fall. They still fall even though I-

Fallen.

From my safe perch in life.

I watched through the window and waved to Opportunity.

I see them drop. I want them to stop sliding.

Can't change outside when I'm here.

Back then, I'd stay.

Now, I go

I go to change what's wrong in the world

Go to stop the weight from collapsing

I used to dream big. Now I dream real.

And I don't care how anyone else feels.
