I used to pray for
I used to pray for death
but it would never come
no matter how hard I tried
my life had just begun
I wanted to skip to the last page
of the story called my life
but it wouldn't happen
because it wasn't time
then came irony
and he brought along a twist
I was diagnosed with a heart disease
and only six months to live
after such a big scare
I found out I'm ok
and though that time is over
I'm thankful for everyday
everyday is a blessing
everyday has a purpose
no longer am I afraid
I'm approaching life nerveless
