As I View


They looked down from the coppice,

over the verdant valley.

As the geese swooned under the cotton clouds.

The lake shone like an emerald, 

enwrapped in an endless beauty,

As if forever.

But only till the violets wither and die,

as do the birds that fly in the sky.
