I wait for myself

I wait for myself

To decide who I am
And who I will be

I wait for myself
Impatiently
I plan and think
But am scared to write in stone.

Am I a coward,
Or am I confused?
Do I know something
That I can't find inside myself?

They ask: what do you want out of life,
But I have no words.
I don't know;
Just yesterday I was told
Do this and
Try that.

Did I lose myself or had I never tried to find her?

Describe yourself with no filter.
I don't know what I want and am trying to find who I am
I am confused but have values that describe who I am
I love my life but can't find one to save it

I can't tell you who I am and I can't tell you who I will be
But just know
When I find her, I will hold her
and share her
and never let her go.
