Remember the promises and dreams that we shared?

the little things we did, to show how much we cared,

coz the thought of a break up got us scared,

I waited for them to come true, but they never did.

Rememner when we had our very first argument?

days we were on different sides n hell bent,

in my heart i always build you a great monument,

I waited for things to work out, but they never did.

Remember when you went frequently out to the clubs?

i knew, a "pals night out" was always the dub,

that left me with so many negative thoughts to snub,

I waited for you to come home early, but you never did.

Remember that night i caught you cheating on me?

though i pretended it was all right with me,

was so mad at you, how could you do that to me?

I waited for you to apologise, but you never did.

Remember when i told you to never call or text me?

b'coz i was so mad at you, maybe for loving me,

n i couldn't stand how the best couple we would be,

I waited for you to call or text, but you never did.

Remember when you left me for your new lover?

n i said i will always love you now n forever,

had promised myself to take you back whatsoever,

I waited for you to come back, but you never did.

I got tired of waiting, i moved on.
