I Wake Up
I wake up alone, in the beginnings of sunlight.
I wake up and yawn, and i look at the dark sky.
I wake up and walk down, eat my ration, then go outside.
I wake up and go learn, to a place where I'm just an outcast.
I wake up and frown, when my emotions are exiled.
I wake up and my owner crown; can't be myself for a little while.
I wake up and dream about, the tunnel's foretold light.
I wake up and lay down, I look up at the night.
I wake up in threshold, as I rouse with a fright,
for even though I wake up, I can't seem to catch flight.
