I wake up knowing there

I wake up knowing there is school

Another day of memorizing formulas

Another day of memorizing historic dates

Another day of studying for tests

High school is supposed to prepare students for college

But what use is it if we don't obtain knowledge that'll prepare us for the journey

Memorize this and that

But what about the application of information we obtain in class

Students are have it ingrained in their mind

To study, study, and study!
