I wanna be alone for

I wanna be alone for some time

Long enough to change my mind

Autumn twists me endlessly

Around the screwed up memories

I blame the lips that drip with spite

And the shattered pieces of my life

Dangling spiders taunt me now

With sex and pride, they hang about

They cling to sins I once abhorred

Chastised flames wind me toward

Arachnid webbing, indiscreet

Black as coffee, bittersweet

Tastebuds glow black and blue

I burned my tongue from tasting you
