I Want

Living here for my whole life

Letting the world pass

Following those around me

Wanting to belong.

Some say I'm sweet and quiet

Others don't know me at all.

I read my books

Play on my phone

and let my words flow.

I want to be a writer

To take part in the books I read.

I want to create

That twisting plot

To write the person's fate.

Few people know this

Or understad

That I want this

To let my words flow.

I want to visit Egypt, Greece

To see their monuments.

Egypt with its hot deset sands

And powerful monoliths.

Greece's beautiful ruins

And history in every wall.

I want to see the places

Of stories

Where the words flow.

I'm nothing special

Nothing bright

My hopes aren't complicated.

But I want people

To see and understand

That this is who I am

No matter what they think

Or if they find that

My words don't always flow.
