i want

i want you to listen

but you dont, you wait for the moment that i wont be offended that you speak, rather than me

i want you to look at my soul

but you dont, you look at my forehead because you know the sight of my yearning pupils will force your knees to wobble and hug the floor because the reason my eyes yearn is you

i want you to hold my shaking hand when it shakes

but you dont because you want a hand to hold but the one that trembles at your touch and turns ice cold is too frigid for your scorching spirit

i want you to be seen with me in public

but you dont because you know i honor your breaths and worship the ground you walk on but regardless the moment i leave you, wont arise so you see it and option rather than obligation

i want you to see when im in need

but you dont because all you think i need is a name to call mine rather than a soul to share time

a friendship sublime

tobacco in line

when you roll it

smoke it

exhale in a manner that says: "when im done with you, you're done with me"

because through your eyes this relationship is one way glass

and im blind

standing in the inside

so even if the blessing of sight granted

the feeling of love is transplanted

and your crown remains enchanted

because after all

your standing on the side of the glass that sees through

the only side of theglass that sees through
