I want to be close to Jesus

Luke 17:30-32

30 Even so, will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife.

Close

I want to be close to Jesus ... well, how close is that?

If He lives within you ... is that not a matter of awareness?

Where have you been ... not to notice His reflection?

Are you sure He is with you in your lack of preparedness?

Are you really certain of your personal relationship?

If He is with you day and night ... why is there a distance?

One you don’t seem to overcome ... like by a four-way stop.

where you seem forever parked ... to make it your existence.

To move on is up to you ... or you may run for sure out of gas.

With money in your pocket ... you’ll still have to push your car.

For sure you will smell … in an odor of a resilient mess

Till you’ll arrive at another stop ... in distance not too far.
