I Want To Be in LoVe Like...

(poems go here) I want to be in love like my body wants to dance. I want to be in love like my vocal box loves to sing. I want to be in love like my mind loves to think. I want to be in love like my spirit loves to fly. I want to be in love like the early birds want to catch their worms. I want to be in love more than the sun desires to give us light. I want to be in love so bad, that my pain turns to anger & then quickly transforms itself back into pain, & now I begin to feel guilty at the fact that I just got mad about no one wanting to be in love with me. I want to be in love so much that if I tried to draw, my hand would be possessed to draw nothing but hearts and star type doodles encasing the word ‘wife’ inside. I want be in love more than the waves want to crash against the rocks. I want to be in love more than my heart wants to beat. I want to be in love so I can have someone to daydream about. I want to be in love so I can have someone to talk to on the phone until I fall asleep, & then wake up in the morning & find out that my battery died. But I still take joy in the fact that I was able to sleep with her … right on my side. I want to find love inside of the darkest cave so that she can be the light that leads us to the exit. I want to be in love so I can have a valid reason to send a text message asking a selfish question like, “Are you thinking of me too???” I want to be in love so that I can love her until she loves me dry. Revive myself with a quick shower then jump back into love; just to be knocked out again. I want to be in love so I don’t have to take walks on the beach by myself. I want to be in love so I can have a reason to wake up early and treat her to breakfast in bed on her birthday, our anniversary, or anytime I feel like being especially sweet. I want to be in love so I don’t have to engage in a friendly argument by myself. Arguing alone… sucks. I want to search for love so I can have someone to laugh with until it hurts; catch our breath, & then lose it all over again. I want to find this love of mine, so on the rare occasions that tears come to my eyes; she can be the one to just… Hold me… I want her love to be the magic marker that blots out all my flaws. I want her love to encase my mind because she knows she is the only woman who can hold onto my wild side. I want her love to be the lioness that dwells with the lion inside my heart. I want her love to be the spark that ignites my flame. I want her to be in love with me so I can once & for all experience unconditional love. I want to experience the un-conditions of the purest love that she has stored up only for me. I want her love to last through the times when we may not feel like loving each other. I want her love to be the love that love birds love to recite lovely melodies too. I want her love to bring into existence the visionistic visions that my envisionary mind has seen. I want her love to bring me as close to heaven as possible. Man I just want a love that… I can love back… Do I need permission to be in love this much??? “Baby, you’ve been writing about me this whole time... Why won’t stop playing these folks & tell them that you been found me. We’ve been making love for over 18 years now. I love you Wayne, but more importantly… I’m in love with you.” –Creativity ‘Gurl… you gon' make me get'cha!!! hahaha.’ – Wayne
