I want to Help

She cries in silence at night, and smiles throughout the day.

He plays the role of “Alpha Dog” throughout the school

Walls but cringes in pain as his name

Was screamed through his

Household walls.

No one sees the scars or tear marks on their cheeks.

No one listens to the cries for help.

The girl with red hair stuck in the needle in her arm

And eventually her pulse stopped beating.

But who paid attention?

The quiet kid in class pulled the rope around his neck

When he felt his couldn’t cope anymore.

But who cared?

The school’s punching bag sliced her skin

Until her vision was black.

But who noticed?

Thousands of faces are seen

Millions of emotions are hidden behind one simple smile.

He was unhappy and saw no reason to live

Bur no one asked him if he was okay?

They all need helped but no one saw it until

It was too late.

No one cared until they were laid in a boxed bed,

Someone finally dried their tears

But it was their own.

There’s an untold story behind every face we see,

There’s a bit of pain behind a long line

Of happiness that is expressed.

And there are some unfinished tears

Left in the eyes.

But there is a bunch of unspoken words that are left

In the echoes of silence.

And I want to hear them all

I want to give the tissue for all those unfinished tears,

I want to find the ending to the untold story,

I want to know the pain behind the happiness.

I want to be the listener before

It’s too late.

I want to be the hand that picks you up after you fall,

Before you decide to stay down forever.

I want to be the voice you hear, that tells you to continue with life

Before you decide to never see the

Light of day again.

I want to be there for you

Before you decide to give up.

I want to help you

Before it’s too late.
