I Want to Thank You

It can be very hard to find the right words to say, So I am just going to thank you for waking me up this day.

I want to thank you for teaching me what’s right and what’s wrong,

And I thank you for not letting

me forget my song.

I want to thank you for guiding and keeping me throughout my life,

And I thank you for keeping me

far away from strife.

I want to thank you for keeping me all these years,

And I thank you for always having open ears.

I want to thank you for teaching me to love my neighbor as my friend,

And I thank you for your many blessings that I fail to comprehend.

I want to thank you for the blood that you shed,

And I thank you for keeping me safe in my bed.

I want to thank you for helping me to be everything that I can be,

Jesus, I want to thank you for dying on the cross for me.

I thank you for my family, and

for my friends.

And I will continue to be faithful, until the end.
