I wanted to...

I am not not someone who is very open...

My respect is not something that comes easily.

I like to see actions instead of words,

and if you dare say something I hope it's fulfilled.

I know I am not perfect,

so how am I to expect that you should be?

I tried to see the person they talked about in you,

to see if you weren't the person I knew.

I always kept at a distance for a reason,

in order so that neither of us would be leaving.

They said they hoped I would not be offended.

From what should I be offended?

I had no problems with you,

or maybe I did,

and if I did I'd try to forget about them because I really did wish you the best.

I heard you words loud and clear,

but your actions did not seem anywhere near.

You motives were no longer clear.

Wanted to respect you... say I was sorry.

To help you... befriend you.

See who they saw you to be.

My respect is faltering as I hear about you.

It is true?

Could you not say anything?

Talk it out and explain?

I no longer know what to think.

I don't know what to say.

Was it really you who said that?

Or did your words get manipulated?

My respect does not know if it belongs to you...
