I wanted to be yours

I wanted to be yours.

I wanted to be yours.

The dreams I would have where I never left your embrace,

Where my favorites.

You made me feel safe.

Except when you didn’t.

Those times that you didn’t, when you hurt me.

When you hit me so hard I had bruises for weeks

“ I didn’t even hit you that hard ”

Until you did.

I cried for a long time.

In my room alone

Waiting for you to text

When you never would.

I'm a 14 year old not-so-happy poet who doesn't know what she's doing with her life. If you think I can do better with my poems plz leave a comment. Almost all of my poems are about one person btw so if you're seeing like repeating feelings thats why. Also my snapchat is @chknnuggs4life so add me I guess.
