I Was

I was perfect once

I was so sure of myself

I was a top student

I was a performer

I was an artist

I was an athlete

I was accomplished

I was so high

I was so sure

I was surprised to find that all my achievements meant nothing in the long run

I was scared

I was alone

I was frantic

I was human

I was perfect
