I was 3...


I was 3… how could you do that to me? 
“This is our little secret” you would say. 
Didn’t you know they would find out one day? 
Because of you, I grew up too fast. 
Because of you, I can’t forget the past. 
I knew that what was happening was wrong...
And I stayed quiet for too long.
 
Now when he holds me, I’m tense. 
Now when he touches me, I flinch. 
Now when he kisses me, I hold my breath in suspense. 
 
I was 3… how could you do that to me?
