I Was Blind

I was as blind as a bat Only to realise that i was lost in darkness, The darkness was surrounding me, And i turned a blind eye because i was temporarily Blinded blinded by friends, And the same friends i wanted to keep in my life left me, They left me while my eyes were still blinded by tears And my mind was completely occupied by negativity. I was blind! I couldn't obey the lessons i got from elders Simply because i was certainly very comfortable Where i was, In a zone of darkness, A zone full of blind people. I admit,gravity pulled me down, Where i found myself walking around in darkness. Well! It was a bolt from the blue. One morning i considered my thoughts,feelings and future. I asked myself why not change for better? Why am i pretending to be happy with this life? That's how i welcomed transformation in my life, That's how i managed to escape under cover of darkness. I was able to accomplish great things, I accomplished them by acting, Dreaming, Planning and believing.
