I Was Going to...

I was going to show you my life

let you see the wondrful happy words on the page

the strong words you can't ignore

I was even ready to show you the sad words

the words that make me cry

the words that let you in

I was ready to show you my life

but then I saw that look in your eyes

the look that says why should I care

and I couldn't let you in..
