I was I am

 i am a boy

that is merely more than a toy

i am a boy

who shed's tears shaded red

i am a boy

who dreamed of honor and glory

But now I am a Man

Who doesn't want such folly

I am a Man

who dreams of true love

hoping to find what others have lost

I am Man

who can look back and say

life wasn't better when i was a boy.
